Testimonials for you Parents!
Emmanuel Cadet ( ex-Boat Rocker Media, Turner Broadcasting, Rovio and The Walt Disney Company )I am very pleased to see the progress of your IP development, you clearly put a lot of work into it and has come a long way !The episodes are well structured and the template well defined. Characters & pets have endearing personalities. The light danger plots are the way to go with the target audience, who enjoys soft thrill & cliffhangers. You touch on serious sustainability concerns but, at the same time, you did not forget to include music & humour, which are also key to engage your audience. The relatable daily life situations with Taio and Dad/family interactions at the beginning/end are important as well
The episode template is clearly designed for “broadcasting” and will need to be adapted for shorter 3-5 minimum content for YouTube. It will not allow you to tell the full stories in a linear way, but you can retain the key elements by creating a collection of Taio’s best stories/memories for example. Taio & Harry could look back to “ The Time when”, showing a digest of the key action moments, funny moments, story behind each artefacts etc… giving the audience the incentive to want to watch more.
If you intend to use “Creating the world of tomorrow” as a visual tag line, just consider that it will have to be adapted in several languages so it may need to be shorter or easier to translate. Alaska should probably have another name since the episode is taking place in Norway and it is a bit geographically confusing – if you want to stay true with your educational message
Feedback / Testimonial – Paramount Global ( April 24th 2024 )Thanks so much for sending us TAIO'S WORLD. It is a heartwarming project that does a good job of encapsulating the experiences of a young child and their individuality. The expansive world and potential for toys and games alongside the show is engaging, and we appreciate the work taken to tailor the project to Paramount's ethos. However, the shows tone doesn't quite meet to what we are looking for at this time. Our slate favours humour and heart at its core, which TAIO'S WORLD certainly implements, but we don't offer overly educational content, a core element of your project. The script, While the Polar Bears Sleep, is an entertaining story with important environmental messaging, but is a good example of educational-centric dialogue that we wouldn't implement in our shows.
Testimonial – Spin Master - ( Pg 3 of 8 )I have reviewed all the materials you kindly shared with us. I really do love the sentiment behind this and I think the light you shine on the importance of kids’ friendships as well as their relationship with their parents is so important. It’s full of heart and the social emotional themes that Taio and his friends explore through their adventures really help inform kids on how to deal with everyday situations they will find themselves in..You have created a fun cast of characters (human and animal!) and we also look for an additional ‘hook’ to be able to develop and expand an ongoing toy world to accompany any series we acquire. The sticker album is a cute idea, but not enough to drive toy, the same with the toy chest. And the fact the adventures take place in a different location every time and the locations are fun, there needs to be ownable elements here to be able to establish a unique toy line.Thank you so much for thinking of us, and for sharing the materials. I see that you have publishing listed as a licensing category which is interesting. This may well be a route worth pursuing to launch this franchise, the characters and story world could lend themselves to early reader books that would enable you to explore the edutainment aspects of this and the many different themes the story engine here opens up. Equally, a less toy-driven entertainment partner may also be a better fit.

Dear Sirs, Ref: Jonathan Pitt, Taio’s World Limited Children’s IP - Taio’s World
Jonathan introduced himself to me in December 2019 through LinkedIn, looking for support and advice for the IP he was creating. I was happy to help Jonathan, to mentor, support and introduce him to industry professionals, on his journey. He is very passionate, determined, and focused and as we got to know each other it was clear that we share similar values. Over the last two years, he has been able to engage and connect with the best companies globally in the Children’s Entertainment industry, through persistence and hard work. I believe BFI would be utilising and allocating public money to a worthy project, one which I will continue to support and if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Norman Thompson Director - Imagine8 Ltd
During my career I have spent 20 years working in the media sector responsible for the commercial extensions of media led Intellectual Property through licensing. The companies that I have worked for include BBC Studios, The Walt Disney Company, DreamWorks Animation and NBC Universal. During that time, I was regularly asked to evaluate IP for a variety of reasons. Jonathan first approached me to share his vision for Taio All Stars and it soon became apparent that Jonathan's creativity, tenacity and determination to bring this IP to a mass audience was unwavering. Jonathan has shown immense initiative and drive to network within the industry, including some of the world's largest media companies, and, during that journey has impressed many, both from an IP and personal dimension. I believe that IP is current, relatable and promotes strong values; all of which will be well received by today's young audiences and supported by parents. Jonathan's goal of receiving initial funding to develop the IP further and make his creation a reality is a worthy investment.
